General Information
Training and employment subsidies will be sourced where applicable.
Funding is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Training is provided in the successful applicant’s local area.
Funds can be used for a variety of purposes including but not limited to driver training and assessment, PPE/logbooks, wages, load restraint, forklift and fatigue management.
C Class
MR (Medium Rigid)
HR (Heavy Rigid)
HC (Heavy Combination)
Hold Australian citizenship or permanent residence
Provide contact details of Registered Training Authorities (RTOs) in their area
Provide contact details of and potential employers in their area
Driver's License
Copy of your Australian driver’s license
Driving Record
(Minimum five years) from the relevant state licensing authority
Resume - including contact details for two character references
Successful applicants will receive written confirmation of their acceptance into the FiTD program. Training will commence soon after.
